Open Heart Surgery on Three-Story Mixed-Use
This building on Willoughby Myrtle between Franklin and Kent looks like it’s having open-heart surgery performed on it. Wonder what’s going to happen in the lot next door?

not only 24 hours but 7 days a week . including x mas
Again, this is on Myrtle, not Willoughby. By the way, the guy who owns the 24-hour plumbing store referenced above also owns this site whose former building collapsed in July 2004 during a sketchy reconstruction process.
this is my place for plumbing even though that one guy is often a jerk. also, it’s the place that buys old radiators ($1.00 per fin regardless of size). i always check out the nearby wreckage. i could have sworn someone was still living in the remaining structure when i first noticed the damage. I DIDN’T KNOW THE PLUMBING STORE WAS 24 HOURS!!!!!!
AWESOME!!!!
im pretty sure this place was in a fire about a yr ago . i agree with shahn. the plumbing supply store is a life saver
That building is a couple of buildings down from Kevin and Richards’ Plumbing and Hardware, the place I have always gone for a compression fitting at 1:00 am (they are open 24 hours) when my idiot contractor cuts through a water line with his sawzall at the end of the day and the downstairs tenant won’t answer her door so we can fix the damn thing and go home.
It has been falling apart for years.
