As far as we can tell, the Satori at 342 Bond Street in Carroll Gardens is slightly more than 50-percent sold; Corcoran shows 18 units in contract and 16 available for purchase. Half of those remaining units got a little nudge in the right direction at the end of last week in the form of some low-single-digit sub-five-percent price cuts. Whether it will be a big enough gesture to gain traction with buyers in this market remains to be seen.

  1. The floor plans are horrible. How do you clean the windows from the outside? The area is gritty, which depending on the person could be OK. But it really isnt one of the better blocks and I could care leass what any realtor would say.

  2. Has any one bought anything here? Has anyone done there walk though yet? The place happens to be in a great spot the Toll brothers are going to build Right on the canal. Bring prices up.

  3. Geez, after these comments, I kinda feel like an idiot. I viewed the property and actually liked the ground floor one bedroom. It had alot of light and a small backyard. I’m a first time home buyer and I liked that it’s so close to some great neighborhoods that I couldn’t afford otherwise although I haven’t ventured that one block over to the canal. I’ve been looking and have been unsucessful in finding anything in this price range that didn’t require an investment in time and money to get it . The open houses were busy when i was there – can anyone give me an idea where to look for something comparable then? I’m just sick of throwing the same amount away on renting!

  4. I disagree this area is kinda cool as is….its just not worth anything near this price and it is only a matter of time before every unexplained illness is attributed to the canal. But again the block/area actually has a interesting vibe IMHO

  5. ugly block. when the broker showed me the apartments i said the view isnt exactly nice.. her response was that the neighborhood was changing and new condos are going up a block away. c’mon.. the bond st view wont change for 15 years at this point.
