1. PARK SLOPE $2,750,000
532 3rd Street GMAP
This home has had a long history on the market. It sold in 2007 for $2,600,000, came back to the market in 2008 for $3,200,000 (that’s when it was a HOTD) and was delisted later in 2008. From the listing: “Beautiful 20ft-wide, 4-floor brownstone on prime, tree-lined Carroll Gardens block. 4. GRAVESEND $2,000,000

5. PARK SLOPE $1,521,500
551 3rd StreetGMAP
When this was a HOTD in 2007 we said: “The four-story brownstone at 551 3rd Street changed hands in 2004 for $1,900,000; the new owner proceeded to do a pretty serious renovation as well as an over-the-top interior design that maybe be a bit much for some people. But if you can look past the chintz, this is certainly a beautiful house with tons of original detail on one of the more desireable blocks in The Slope.” It was asking $3,750,000. It was pulled off the market in 2008 and wasn’t marketed, as far as we know, since then. Entered into contract on 8/26/11; closed on 8/26/11; deed recorded on 9/19/2011.
