  1. 495 3rd St. I assume being connected to a vacant rotting building brought the price down.

Does anyone know the owner(of the vacant building) Carlos Hernandez of 291 5th Ave? Why doesn’t he sell it?

  2. That 3rd Street listing may be the shell of a brownstone right next to the corner (where Carvel’s is located). I’ll walk by tomorrow to confirm. If so, it has no windows, is boarded up and has been vacant as long as i can remember.

  3. That 3rd Street is curious. Large house 22′ x 45′
on wonderful block near 7th Avenue. Even assesor has market value at that price—very rare to have sale approximating assessed value.
Would also think worth much more.
