We’re usually not to thrilled to see exposed brick walls in the parlor floors of brownstones but in the case of 494 9th Street, a brand-new listing in Park Slope, we think it works okay in conjunction with the stripped woodwork and original sub-flooring. The proximity to Prospect Park certainly don’t hurt this places chances either. It’s a little hard to opine on the asking price of $2,695,000 without seeing any photos of the upper floors. We suspect they’ve overshot a little but not a lot. Time will tell.
