On the one hand, it’s refreshing to see a house in Carroll Gardens listed for less than $2 million; on the other, this two-family pad is only three stories and in need of a major makeover so it’s not like $1,900,000 is a give-away price. From the limited photos, it appears that the interiors still have much of their original charm, not surprising for a house that’s been in the same family for 75 years, and the exterior boasts one of those extra-large front yards. That said, we suspect the place will need a little more than the “simple nip and tuck” that the listing calls for. We shall see.
