Granted this brownstone at 419 Sterling Place is only three stories tall, but it’s got lots of historic charm and a great Prospect Heights location. And the asking price is only $1,349,000. This’ll be gone within the week, we bet!

If I had to pick between this or the Coop in Cobble Hill, I would go with the Coop. It is in a much much better location and just seems like a more sophisticated and urbane home.

Dibs, agreed, if you have a garden level tenant, having a stoop and two separate entries is much better. I also do not like the main entrance of an expensive home being a few steps below grade -it just seems wrong.
Very nice although the stoop was removed probably for conversion to boarding house or SRO back in the day. I would miss the stoop.
