It’s not often you’re going to see a house on Garfield Place in Park Slope for $1,300,000, but such is the case with the new listing at 41 Garfield Place. There was some debate on Curbed the other day about whether to count all three floors in the square footage calculations because one is below grade but the photos make it pretty clear that the lower floor is legitimate living space, putting the size at around 1,600 square feet. The house has been recently renovated and is in move-in condition; the finishes aren’t going to knock the socks off anyone but they’re roughly equivalent to a new condo and sure to be fine for plenty of buyers. We suspect the price will prove attractive to many.
