Wow, this new listing at 407 Stuyvesant Avenue in Stuyvesant Heights is gorgeous. The three-family brownstone has incredible architectural detail, including a huge pier mirror on the parlor floor and stained glass. Based on the lack of photos, we assume that the kitchens and bathrooms might need some work, but otherwise this place looks drool-worthy. Asking price: $925,000

  1. Well, we thought it was great but why does everyone want to live in the past? Putting in modern baths and kitchen is just what is reasonable for anyone who appreciates detail but lives in the present. The house is gorgeous, needs electrical but heating ok. As for curb appeal, what the heck does Minard want? Tiffany? I would love to see his perfect pastoral abode…..wake up and get with it people!

  2. dave, it is possibly true that we are both windbags. however, unlike you, I know what I am talking about, I don’t constantly insult people, and am therefore the far nicer windbag.

  4. it lacks curb appeal, it looks dirty to me. what can I say? I know Brooklyn pretty well, been all over, Stuyvesant Heights has some drop dead gorgeous houses, this is not one of them. Dave as usual, you are playing the role of the windbag who pretends to know everything
