The lack of interior photos is typically worrying, but the asking price on this new townhouse listing at 282 11th Street (between 4th and 5th Avenues) in the South Slope is somewhat encouraging. At least we know that the common areas of the three-family house still have some original details, but either the tenants aren’t playing ball or the conversion to apartments took its toll on the 19th century house. Still, the barrel-front facade is quite charming, so we’re going to remain optimistic until proven otherwise this could be an interesting renovation project for someone who wants to put his or her mark on a one-family house.
