It has a porch with big columns, five bedrooms, a semi-finished basement with laundry and woodworking shop, a separate garage, and a roomy back yard. The kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms have been updated, but have an early 20th century vintage feel. It’s also not far from the shops on Cortelyou.
Considering prices of late, it seems like a good deal for $1,399,000. What do you think of it?

cute house, but I agree, priced too high. Very low ceilings throughout the entire house and needs updating even though the listing says “pristine”.
$1.1 seems more realistic for this condition/location, even in this market. The house has outdated interiors – you will need to renovate kitchen and bathroom at least and the basement needs finishing so $ there too. Bedrooms top floor are tiny so is that bathroom. I have a feeling those photos make it look much better than it is person – have been to many of these houses and that is always the case, especially in this area with those types of houses. At that price/location, I would expect much more updated interiors. cute house but price is the issue.
Sure, it’s cheaper than many houses on offer in the area lately, but the price feels too high for only four bedrooms. Maybe $1.199m?
