What’s the price that gets this place sold?

I live over there, gs3…on Stuyvesdant between macon & Halsey.
This is 1 1/2 blocks past Jefferson.
You don’t really have a clue, do you?????
That area is considered “out there”, or “I dont want to live that far out”
Prime bed stuy is around Hancock, Halsey, btwn Macon and Jefferson, putnam……
Sorry to keep correcting you Dave
someone should just offer a low ball all-cash offer
“a lot going for it”
Proximity to a train aside. Overpriced even in bullish terms. Not that someone won’t overpay.

The photos look great, but who wants to buy a house mid-renovation? And can you get a mortgage for it?
A beautiful not-quite-finished house on Putnam and Lewis (?) sold for $700,000 last year. The top two floors had been beautifully redone but the basement had not yet been touched. However, it was in fine, move-in condition with no holes in the walls or debris.
I want to say it was maybe in March of this year.
The pictures are extremely deceiving and it did not appear that any work was actually being done on the first floor. We were literally so annoyed at the lack of clarity in the listing and pricing given its condition, that we walked out after 10 seconds and returned the tear sheet to the agents who were just sitting there on the stoop gossiping rather than tending to the people that were there to see the house. That being said, I cannot speak for the upper floors.
There is NO way that they’ll get even close to ask. Like wasder, my guess is in the 700s.
Great location but the fact that there seems to be major renovations still to be done means that this ask needs to go down. Right around 700G would be a good price I think because I would imagine there is probably still 50-100G worth of work to be done here. At that price it would be a good buy, getting you a beautiful house in a sweet location. But current ask is not in the realm of reasonable.
How long ago, bedstuytownhouse? I’ve seen this listing last year and none of the wording has changed.
If it’s missing bathrooms and kitchens you’ll never get a mortgage but I’m surprised to hear what you are saying, especially given the “deceiving” pictures.
Pigeon, this is PRIMO Stuyvesant Heights, and only a few blocks from the A train at Fulton St near Utica Ave. From there it’s only 5 stops on the A to lower Manhattan, 10stops to midtown.
