House of the Day: 29 Prospect Place
First off, this listing needs to be styled and rephotographed if it wants to have a shot at fetching its $2,695,000 asking price. While it’s a perfectly nice house, it’s not an eye-popping as much of its competition in the Slope and needs to be putting its best foot forward. We were also stunned to see that the house changed hands for just $799,000 in August 2004. Presumably some work has been done, but we don’t think that new kitchen’s gonna knock anyone’s socks off. Time to raise your game!

Then why are you crashing it?
Whatever. You party sucks.
When I was very young it was Johnny Crawford!!!!
sam, thanks, I appreciate it and am duly impressed that you remembered the eruv distinction line. I prefer being your friend rather than your nemesis as you’ve proven you can more than hold your own when it comes to cyber sparring! And congrats yourself at being cited not once, but TWO times this week in the Quote of the Day.
I loved Maude when I was growing up. It was wonderful seeing a strong, intelligent, witty woman in a lead role for a change. And Adrienne Barbeau wasn’t exactly hard on the eyes. She was somewhat of a childhood dream.
SnarkSlope, good one!
“a party of like 4 people” very 14 year old girlish too!!!! whatever!
“Wow brownstoner has become a party of like 4 people.”
Bitter, table for one.
billyboomer, why so crabby? (pun intended)
You know Biff no one commented on one of your all-time wittiest lines last week, something like..”an eruv distinction”. anyway, I apprectaed it. the shellfish line is good too.
also, if I had to play a female role from All in the Family I think I would pick Edith’s cousin Maude. The look and height would suit me better.
nk…blaming your technological problems on the browser is like blaming the current finacial crisis on the administration. 🙂
