house
The only thing of note about this house is its price which, given the location, may be enough to get a deal done. While the North Slope two-family doesn’t have a ton of historical charm on the inside, it’s in good shape, has a nice yard and large kitchen. We could see how it would hold a lot of appeal to someone who wants to be in the Slope for under $1 million. Agree?

  1. “i’ve been on this block at least a 100 plus times. if this block is sketchy, then evrybody who lives in clinton hill, crown heights, bed stuy and the beloved PLG should never leave their house.”

    perfectly said.

  2. Well, just because people live in 1 million dollars house, it does not mean that they have enough money to buy good furniture. They probably bought this house for 300,000 back in the 90’s.

  4. Yes Corcoran folks sure do take nice photos. What good are they though given all Corcoran’s listings are priced so far above market value. I don’t even bother to look at their site anymore. It’s just a tease. sigh.

  5. Hey now…Pottery Barn is not terrible and I’ve gotten some stuff there that’s perfectly fine, has help up very well and looks lovely in my home. For that matter, Ikea has some good stuff too. The snobbery on this board is just amazing sometimes.

  6. “but if the furniture is cheap, who knows what other cheap shortcuts they took in the house. kinda like using pvc instead of cast iron.”

i guess you should only buy houses from people who shop at pottery barn!
