My friend told me about your web site and I really enjoyed it. Very nicely done. Very interesting!
At least he didn’t write “would of went” and “would of gave” as so many do…
Oww! That kind of grammar really does hurt! And you know this is probably the product of some expensive institution of higher learning as well…Regardless of your reluctance to edit a direct quotation (a feeling with which I totally agree), just a well-placed (sic) here and there would have let us know that you do not participate in the progressive elimination of the past participle that seems to have overtaken so much of our society (although the literacy of your usual pieces reassured us of that already).
Who would want to live in either? Crap and crap.
I looked at those condos at 70 Washington and would have spent my $1mm there (on the side that doesn’t have the parking lot/possible new developement).
Or, better, there are a couple of nice old-school brownstone duplexes in Brooklyn Heights for this price.
This REALLY feels like Greenspan’s “froth” to me.
As much as our ears were offended too, we didn’t want to edit a direct quotation. Guess it’s the downside of the “off-the-cuff” blogger style.
terrible grammar.
“I would’ve gladly gave ” Please, given
“If I had the flow, I would’ve went after” -Please, I would’ve gone
The brownston replica is done cheply and it is not interesting but I support this kind of building as an urban idea much more then set back tower (carlton street disaster).
I like views also – but terraces are small and
the this duplex has its outdoor space also -garden –
much more usable – and I think if have kids much safer.
Well, if we’re going to live in a brownstone we want it to be old-school; if we are going to live in a modern interior, we’d rather have a doorman and the views frankly.
