Follow Up: State Street Townhouses Underway
After our post last Monday on the State Street townhouse development and the State Renaissance condos (above) across the street, a reader was nice enough to send us a few photos of the works-in-progress. More after the jump. Thanks, Lori! State Street Getting 25 New Townhouses [Brownstoner]

State Street Getting 25 New Townhouses [Brownstoner]
excluding the top of the line finishes obviously i wonder what the difference between the cost of constructing these beauties and the usual garbage 2 and 3 family homes going up all over brooklyn and queens it can be that much more per square foot
we are moving into the nearby “boulevard east” condo and i am so happy to see these gorgeous, yet highly unaffordable (for me), townhouses going in on State, and keeping the integrity of that historical block. i am drooling ove the website! anybody got a spare $2.5M they can lend me LOL
This is a proper use of modern arch in brooklyn.
it is a million times better thet set back tower (like the disaster on Carlton st).
I know that it is probably quite hi end places but it shoud be a row model for low income buildings as well.
THIS IS THE WAY TO GO FOR MODERN BROOKLYN
I like the fact that they didn’t try to replicate an old brownstone, but instead chose to make it modern.

They look great!
