On the first floor of an early 20th century standalone, this rental offers a spacious layout, some storage, and details like wood floors, stained glass, and pocket doors. The two-bedroom is one of two units in 403 Rugby Road in the Flatbush micro nabe of Ditmas Park West.

The exterior of the wood-frame house has been altered since its circa 1940 tax photo, including an addition on the top. It still retains details like separate entrances for each unit, bay windows, and a front porch. The renters of this unit can take advantage of the latter for a bit of outdoor space.

The apartment’s living room faces that porch, and bedrooms are located in the rear. The side kitchen has been partly opened up to the dining room, and there is one full bath.
