Having once run the selection process for a developer I can tell you the random picking of entry envelopes is carefully monitored by independent government officers. These lotteries are for real but candidates have to fit very narrow income windows.
Good luck to all!
What’s to knock, fof?
Looks alright to me.
where’s the hatred? come on asshats!
let’s see how much we can knock this project we know nothing about.
“bid half off my nuts”
someday this blog is gonna end.
I don’t agree Rob. The selection process is managed by HPD- not by the private developer. It’s actually good. Some development is good.
this is not NYCHA, it’s privately funded and developed no? if it is that means don’t bother applying, cuz it’s all about who you know. unfortunately 99 percent of “affordable” units like this go to people with strings and lots of greased pockets unfortunately.
great idea on paper. epic fail in reality.

Looks decent, an improvement on what was previously located there.
It matches the mall.
Too bad the people on the Atlantic Ave side will have to stare at the back of a stadium.
I really don’t think this looks bad at all.
