“Isn’t a bad studio. But the price should be a tad lower to be in line walk-up studios.”
Not fair to call this a studio. It’s not a great one-bedroom, but it’s not a studio.
(Though, again, no nice place for a table. Would have to be squeezed into the living room.)
“Quick addition, the listing says the place has south exposure, which would suggest (unless I’ve got my directions messed up) the unit faces into the block, or possibly into another building. It certainly looks like the latter from the kitchen and living room photos.” 93932)
Huh. That’s strange. If it’s really a southern exposure, or, more accurately, a southwestern exposure (4th Ave. runs much more southwest/northeast, not really north/south), then I’m not sure why we’re seeing another building out those windows; it should be the side that faces 44th street; the view should be open.
“Nomi, Glidden’s “True Turqouise” I did my parlour with it.” (Dave)
Oh, that’s right. I remember the pictures. Nice.
use the bedroom for office and more storage/closet. turn main room into living and sleeping space with one of those modern couches that is a bed by just going backwards.
a pretty bad accident occurred in front of that coop over the weekend.

co-op looks decent. the bedroom is tiny though.
what do you guys think a place like this can fetch in rent?
STARGAZER, you are cool.
When people come over, I always forget how used to the climb I am and wonder why my visitor is walking so slowly.
Nice to see a listing in Sunset Park! More, please!
I too am on the 4th floor of a walk up, I don’t mind the steps at all, and yes it is heaven that no one is above you!!
I know where this building is, I work 2 blocks away. The building is kept very neat from the outside, it is on the north side of 4th and 44th.
Subway is right there as a lot of stores, but no matter what, it is still on 4th ave so noise is just a part of what it is.
The bedroom in ridiculous, it looks more like a closet with a window.
The kitchen has zero room for a table and chairs, isn’t that what a kitchen was made for?
Bathroom is OK, not my taste, but whatever.
This would be good for a first time move out of parents house.
overpriced compared to the coops right next to the park. the all-cash coops have 1 bdrm unit bigger than this for 140k to 160k depending on condition and the mortgage-allowed coops are around this price 180 to 200k. those 1 bedrms are bigger and location is better.
That bathroom is seriously fugly. Looks like they tiled the ceiling, clutch pearls!
