This third-floor co-op at 2 Grace Court in Brooklyn Heights is a nice middle-of-the-road prewar apartment. We like the open living/dining area, the common roof deck and the location just off the promenade. And for a doorman building in The Heights, the monthly maintenance of $1,200 ain’t too bad at all considering that the unit itself has 1,100 square feet. The asking price is $769,000. 1. I don’t think it’s that much less than 1100.

It’s nice .. . slightly . . .. I don’t know, something, at least in the pictures is giving the living space a slightly oppressive feel. Not sure what it is. The ceilings don’t look low. Not sure.

Anyway, it’s a solid two-bedroom apt. And I’m not sure why Expert is saying the kitchen is so typical/modest. Not my choices mostly, but that’s a marble countertop, glass tile, not inexpensive cabinets and those appliances are not low end.

I agree with Ringo though — it’s probably a dark apartment.

  2. Yes, I am so feeling this one!!!. Very good layout, windows in ALL (yay) the rooms, and love the bronze windows as well.
    Kitchen looks good…

maint is a bit on the high side, but yup, I’m def feeling this one…..and that’s good for me cause I usually don’t !! 🙂

  3. I like this building although I suppose some of the apartments have BQE noise to contend with. Still too pricey, I think, but someone may bite. But what I really want to know is why, out of all the buildings in Brooklyn, you have posted so many apartments for sale in this one. Aren’t we up to about six?

  4. I agree with many of the previous comments. I like the living/dining space, but I don’t think it’s anything worth shouting in all caps about. I would definitely need to restore the closets if I were to take this apartment…I’m curious as to why they only posted a photo of the one bedroom. Regardless, it seems like a charming little spot.
