We’re liking the look of this one-bedroom at 77 Eastern Parkway in Prospect Heights, and it’s not just because it’s listed in the Brownstoner Marketplace. It’s a classic prewar apartment, with nice details and dimensions. The only thing we’re not feeling is the kitchen, which is perfectly functional but is lacking in sex appeal. The monthly maintenance is a quite reasonable $527 and the asking price $329,000. What do you make of that?

  1. I rented a sponsor unit in this building in the late 90’s. A fifth floor unit similar to this, but with a new nicely appointed kitchen. Also, the bath and kitchens were reversed allowing for a more spacious living/dining/kitchen combo room. It’s a nice building, quiet, and clean, but the communal owner laundry room was in the basement accessible only by going outside into the alley way and re-entering through a separate door.

  2. Could be made very nice. Good to see a reasonable mtn fee for a change. Probably fairly quiet since it appears to be in the back of the building but too bad the exposure is only east.
