Co-op of the Day: 800 Cortelyou Road, #6A
This co-op at 800 Cortleyou Road looks like a nice basic one-bedroom apartment. Other than the tile choice in the bathroom (easily remedied), it’s a blank slate. The 800-square-foot pad was on the market for a couple of months in the early spring at $240,000 but failed to sell; it’s now with a new broker…

The 800-square-foot pad was on the market for a couple of months in the early spring at $240,000 but failed to sell; it’s now with a new broker at a new price of $225,000. The maintenance is a modest $491 per month. How’s that block of Cortelyou?

I don’t trust teenagers… and they smell… and most of them are having more sex than me.
Kens – no, I’m not! I was walking back from Sycamore or something and just in front of the school, a pack of kids were acting like they were gonna do something. Sixyears said it was the first time in the 7 years that he had lived around the corner that he had experienced something like that, though.
JB, you kidding me right?
I actually did almost get jumped at this location last summer – bunch of marauding teens surrounded me and I felt kinda freaked out.
Welcome to the neighborhood, er I mean, gang central, Pacha.
The rug is from Ikea.
the rug is from ikea.
changing the tile in that bathroom is not an easy fix. if i am not mistaken, there is only one bathroom in this apartment, and you can count on a contractor taking at least 6 weeks to get through the job.
sounds like the previous owners did a real number on this place. too bad when that happens…

I am moving into this building soon (rental) from what I know about it, the building seems nice and I personally like the location.
On another note anyone know where that rug is from?
I saw this apartment while it was with the previous broker.
One thing the photos do not show you is that the fridge is (was) in the dining room, because it will not fit in the kitchen. Well, a smaller one would have fit, but the previous owners re-did the kitchen, bought a giant fridge, and plopped it in the dining area.
Another fun fact: there is tile on the bathroom ceiling. Who the hell does that!?!?
