Co-op of the Day: 355 Clinton Avenue
We’re partial, of course, given the location, but this 2-bedroom co-op on Clinton Avenue looks like a decent buy to us at $479,000. The kitchen ain’t doing it for us but the space, light and views are. The low maintenance is pretty nice too. The curious may attend the open house on Sunday from noon…

355 Clinton Avenue, #12F [Corcoran] GMAP
209 Clinton Avenue 1 BR [Brownstoner]
Corcoran has another 2BR listed at 365 Clinton Avenue for $449K..maint is about the same.
there’s an electricity surcharge, which is added to the maintenance each month; maybe that’s what makes it so high. I live in this complex, and my maintenance is $570, but the electric add-on makes it about $700.
818 low? are you nuts? i would have to very, very rich to flush that kind of dough down the toilet e very month.
Yes, 818 is way high, for the type of building and area. The financing underlying the conversion must not be great.
i didn’t mean $818 was not comparable to others, I meant that to be stuck with that expense each month is just excessive. No way I’d pay that.
The apartment seems to have a city view from one two windows, but the main windows all face out onto the other coop buildings
$818? Doesn’t seem so high to me on a building with an elevator and security guards. But I haven’t been shopping for co-ops in a while.
great apt, very reasonable price – but the maintenance is preposterous.
