The Mason Fisk building at 72 Berry Street in Williamsburg made headlines back in 2009 when it quickly sold out while the rest of the market was still in the doldrums. (A subsequent lawsuit by purchasers against the owners over construction issues has been resolved, as far as we understand.) Three years later, this third-floor unit is up for resale, and the owner is looking to put a few dollars in his or her pocket. The 1,230-square-foot one-bedroom originally sold for $740,000 and is now asking $925,000. It’s a much different market now and there aren’t a lot of lofts available in old buildings. The price per square foot of $750 isn’t even that high for this location, so it should probably go at or close to ask.
