This condo at 360 Furman Street has a lot going for it: High ceilings, huge windows, proximity to park, modern kitchen and bathroom…the list goes on. Given the location (Brooklyn Heights waterfront) and quality of the building, the asking price-per-square-foot of $563 ($475,000 for 843 square feet) seems quite reasonable to us (it’s less than what it sold for the first time around). The only catch: it’s a studio so you have to be okay with having your bed be visible from the kitchen.

  1. 2 people can’t live in an 800 square foot space? Hello? This building drives you all nuts. What is it about the place? Is it the awful ads?

  2. This is an easy walk to Boro Hall and to the R.
The A is further. However there is a free shuttle to Boro Hall for the less able-bodied. Bottom line, this location is infinitely more convenient to the trains than any location in WiIliamsburg.

  4. tinarina, exactly right.

other posters I think are made nervous by the fact the G train is not close by and they have to make do with the 4,5,2,3,R,A, and C.

  5. expert, agreed, they want their own bathroom, but short of that, at least their own sink.
In terms of transportation options, this is across the street from that remote, under-served neighborhood called Brooklyn Heights.
It is also five minutes from Manhattan by car.
I know, I know, cars are evil, but nonetheless.
