We’re loving this listing at 190 West Street in Greenpoint. The 3,625-square-foot loft has 13 to 15 foot ceilings and a beautiful field of joists to tie it all together. The location over near the waterfront feels remote now (which for many people is a plus) but in five years will more closely resemble Kent Avenue by the Edge and Northside Piers in Williamsburg. All sorts of optimism, however, is already baked into the current asking price of $3,750,000. You like?

  1. I very much envy people whose work (or inheritances) allow them to live in these remote locations. That said, $3.7M for a condo rather than a house seems pretty insane, even though I love the space.

  2. Nicest building in Greenpoint. That said, the apartment was listed for several weeks at $3m and didnt sell,so why would it sell now for $3.75? If this apartment was totally decked out it wouldve had a chance to sell at $3m but it still needs some work and also has no private outdoor space. The public outdoor space is amazing with panoramic views. Even with Greenpoint Landing coming it should still retain some solid views of Manhattan.
