Condo of the Day: 1 Grand Army Plaza, #14F
It’s taken a while (!) but the Richard Meier-designed On Prospect Park at 1 Grand Army Plaza is now over 70-percent-sold. One of the bigger remaining units is this 14th-floor three-bedroom pad with south and east views. The 1,946-square-foot pad is well laid out and appointed, as expected, and has its own small balcony. The asking price of $2,500,000 comes out to about $1,250 a square foot, as compared to asking prices of about $1,000 a foot on the lower floors and more than $1,400 for the penthouses. Pretty impressive.

Sterile is right. Cold and uncomfortable and the kitchen looks like a bathroom
Forget the look (tha’s a matter of taste) – where is the rest of the apartment??? by my generous calculation it is missing 400sq ft (or over 20%)
I don’t think it’s a boring design. I think it is a very lovely building actually. But I have always liked the comfort of thick masonry walls so a glass apartment is not for me.
not only are your exterior walls glass but so is the balcony.
Not a big deal to clean the inside, but those exterior surfaces need to be done by drop scaffold.
stunning, very stylish, but too much of a fishbowl for me.
Who cleans those windows anyway?
Are there professional window washers on retainer? Is it covered by the
monthly maintenance charge?
You don’t want shmutzy windows with this all-white look.
