Condo of the Day: 60 Broadway, #PH1A
This new listing at The Gretsch in Williamsburg has celebrity party pad written all over it. (As Curbed pointed out last week, the neighboring penthouse is actually owned by Josh Hartnett.) The 2,373 square feet of interior space is all fine and dandy but it’s the 3,500 square feet of landscaped outdoor space that really makes this place stand out. (That, and the broker’s generous use of the ALL CAPS key in her description!) Pretty awesome. Asking price: $2,950,000.

“if that’s a shared / common roof deck then the developer was an idiot the buyer a bigger idiot for buying the pad.”
i really doubt it – why would the developer go thru the hassle of adding that penthouse addition to the bldg? coulda just sold up the rooftop space as cabanas.
if that’s a shared / common roof deck then the developer was an idiot the buyer a bigger idiot for buying the pad.
“Except….you share the roof deck with the whole building. I wonder if they mind if you walk around naked?”
is that a fact? i was always under the impression the penthouses had huge private outdoor space and the rest of the bldg had a separate area.
Wait — is it really a common roof deck? That changes everything. That means it’s just a crowded interior jumble of beds and baths, with NO privacy through those lovely floor-to-ceiling windows.
Ugh!!, every freaking bedroom does not need it’s own bathroom. Lose one of the bedrooms and bathrooms and give the living space a bigger feel….
whats wrong with the builders of today, they seem to give you just as much living space as the tenements of the lower east side had back in the day of the industrial revolution, just with more bathrooms……
The combo kitchen / living thing wouldn’t be half that bad, provided it was the size of 2 real rooms, not just a living room with kitchen cabinets shoved in the corner….
Except….you share the roof deck with the whole building. I wonder if they mind if you walk around naked?
> 2400 sq ft is great…when it’s…
Actually 2400sf and not somewhere around 1800-2000sf.
The outdoor space though is a total pantydropper.
DH, When you hit it rich, I rather buy this as your Local pad than that Kent House. this is most def baller. only thing missing is like an infiniti pool with a outdoor bbq/bar set-up
“PH1A” is an awful name for an apartment i assume it stands for penthouse? is it even on the top floor? i love how buildings these days, anything above the third floor is considered a penthouse.
i dont think i could EVER live in a penthouse, it’s so obnoxious sounding. do people like literally be all like , ooooh why dont you come up to my penthouse?
