From the numerous photos, it’s pretty clear this is a drool-worthy pad. In addition to the predictably high ceilings and abundance of light, the corner loft has a swanky kitchen and high-end bathrooms. The monthly charges come to $972. Price tag? $1,585,000.

BKLove, i don’t know about the particular views in this unit but this building is beautiful inside and out. It is precisely these kinds of units that will fare the best with the market turmoil. I ain’t saying they won’t go down, just less so than other condos.
QB Steve–I see what you are saying. The floorplan is a little confusing.
I’ve been in this unit (well, not this exact one) and it may not be 1689 as advertised, but not by much. some might be confused by the “21 x 15” on the floor plan — that’s just the living area and doesn’t include the kitchen and dining area (which is clear to see from the pics). I think the rough area is more like 32 x 50.
Yeah, it is obviously much smaller than advertised. Wonder why they would do that if it is so easy to confirm otherwise.

The entire floorplan fits in a 26×36′ rectangle which comes out to 936 Sq. Ft.
by the way, any seller who is paying a broker anything close to 6% in this market is about as much of a shmo as someone who pays anywhere close to ask on this place.
seriously deluded people on this blog. this place has the absolute antithesis of views. it hardly even has any clear space. the second bedroom is tight. so we have a 2 bedroom with one small bedroom, 2.5 baths, and virtually no open exposures. upside is a virtual guarantee that every resident gets his/her own crapper i guess. 7 figs alone is pushing the envelope in my opinion but i won’t be surprised if some sheep pays that.
Put me in the camp that thinks this apartment is smaller than 1,600 SF.
