That puts you between Manhattan Avenue and Franklin Street, with loads of bars, restaurants and shops within easy reach. It’s also worth noting that you can walk to the Greenpoint ferry from here, which could be a useful amenity when the L train shuts down in 2019.

The listing calls it “sun drenched,” which seems a stretch, but the bathroom and kitchen are both windowed, and the smaller bedroom has double exposures. At least one involves a view; you can see the new Kosciuszko Bridge, according to the listing — which means if you move quickly you could watch the old one’s demolition from the comfort of your home.

The kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s nicely renovated with Caesarstone countertops and a wine fridge, and offers a decent amount of cabinet space and a counter with a pair of stools.
