Okay, let’s give this one more try! This is now the fourth time we’ve written about this duplex at 35 Prospect Park West since its owners started attempting to unload the 11-room apartment five and a half years ago. After trying their luck last spring with an asking price of $4,500,000, the whopper of a co-op has been repriced at its 2009 level of $3,900,000. Somebody please put these folks out of their misery! It’s a lovely apartment. What’s the problem?

  1. What’s the problem?
You can get a house for the same price in PS. and not have to deal with a coop board, neighbors on top aand below and next to you. And for $5K (maintneance on this apt) a month, you can hire someone to take out garbage, shovel Snow, etc.
