brokelin, I disagree a “no dogs” policy usually means that the people in the building don’t like dogs for whatever cultural or personal reason. Most small buildings allow dogs and some large buildings do not. It depends on the residents likes and dislikes, not on the size of the building, the staff, or how often the hallways are cleaned, which I would hope would be frequent in any building i would want to live in. .
Also a barking dog can be just annoying if it is across the street or next door. Maybe there is a dog-free block somewhere for those who really have issues with dogs.
I think a no dogs policy could mean a very fussy and intolerant board. But I do understand that some folks just don’t like dogs.
