This listing on the second floor of the converted school house at 205 Warren Street just hit the market with an asking price of $1,099,000. It has some stunning features, including six ten-foot-high windows and a restored mahogany ceiling. The kitchen is small but attractive. Baseboard heating is sub-ideal from our standpoint but not the end of the world. Is it worth $1,000 a foot? Probably not quite but that remains to be seen.

  1. in manhattan, this would be considered a 3br in a heartbeat. this is essentially a 3br/2ba plus extra loft areas. Maintenance still well below Manhattan for an older building such as this. This one within striking distance, esp given comps in the building. Its a charmer – and oh the windows!
