Sunset Park Panel Offers Tips on Taxes, Financial Planning for Home Sellers

Plenty of longtime Brooklyn home owners are cashing out or considering it. Wondering how to make the most of your money after you sell? Two Douglas Elliman real estate agents are hosting a panel on that topic in Sunset Park.

What to Do Next: Multiply Your Money After Selling will cover the tax implications of real estate transactions, financial planning for real estate, estate planning, how to choose a real estate agent, how to attain a good credit report, and a look at the current real estate market.

Panelists will discuss gifting strategies and portfolio weighting for people who have sizable real estate holdings.

Panelists include Santander Bank mortgage banker Robert Donoso; KAP Planning LTD financial advisors Stephen Sabo and Jason Bayuk; and Renata Thomas and Cynthia Barrera, the real estate agents from Douglas Elliman who are hosting the event.

Panelists will take questions from the audience, and translation into Spanish and Portuguese will be available. Refreshments will be provided.

The free event will take place at the Sunset Park Library at 5108 4th Avenue at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23.
