Halstead is expanding in Brooklyn. The real estate firm opened its eighth Brooklyn office Monday at 725 Fulton Street in Fort Greene.
“Brooklyn remains an important expansion opportunity in our overall strategic plan and we are deeply committed to being accessible to our customers throughout the borough,” said Chairman and CEO of Halstead Diane Ramirez in a prepared statement.
Halstead Managing Director of Sales in Brooklyn Trish Martin will oversee the office. Many Halstead agents live nearby and the office is close to almost every subway line, added Martin.
As real estate values have increased in the Brooklyn, large firms have expanded their presence in the borough, such as Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serhant of Nest Seekers, who opened an office in Bed Stuy last year.
The space previously housed another real estate firm, Brooklyn Properties, which moved around the corner to 85 Fort Greene Place.
