All sold — again! That marks two weeks in a row Brownstoner’s Open House Picks have all been bought up. It should come as no surprise, really, considering the hot Brooklyn market, but in fact it’s rare.
The detail-less Carroll Gardens listing sold for $201,000 above ask, but the final price for the two-story townhouse was still considerably lower than is typical for brownstones in the area. The two-family Crown Heights property got its ask exactly.
The Williamsburg three-story single-family sold for $16,000 above ask, raking in $65,000 more than the Crown Heights home. Over in East Flatbush, nearly a mile from any subway, the property sold, but for $40,000 under ask, the final number not even breaking half a million.
