Our picks for open houses to check out this weekend are found in Park Slope, Bed Stuy, Windsor Terrace and Midwood.

In Park Slope, a bow-fronted limestone four-family is one of a row of late 19th century flats buildings. Completed by 1900, the building contains four floor-through apartments with pier mirrors, parquet, mantels, moldings and original doors. The units are unusually large, with at least three bedrooms apiece, and some have 1.5 bathrooms and in-unit laundry. Photos show modern bathrooms and kitchens, including one with stone counters and a Wolf stove.

A legal two-family, the four-story 1880s Renaissance Revival brownstone has a one-bedroom apartment with its own entrance at the rear of the garden floor. The larger unit spans three and a half floors plus the cellar. Historic details include seven fireplaces (three wood burning), pocket doors, stained glass and a window seat. Some of the plumbing and electric is recently updated, and the roof has solar panels.

There are plaster walls, moldings, arched doorways, bead board and tin ceilings. Semi-detached, the house gets light and air from windows on three exposures.
