This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Clinton Hill, and Bay Ridge. How did they fare?
First up, one of a stretch of Neo-Grec houses on Berkeley Place, this Park Slope brownstone still has a fair number of its 1880s details in place, including mantels, wood floors, a pier mirror, and stained glass. This former House of the Day sold in July for the listing price of $6.65 million.
This carriage house is on scenic Verandah Place in the Cobble Hill Historic District. This former Open House Pick sold in August for $5.625 million, which was $375,000 under the asking price.
In Clinton Hill, the Lefferts-Laidlaw House has a fine architectural pedigree as a rare Brooklyn example of a temple-front Greek Revival, a style once popular in the borough. This former House of the Day was taken off the market in May.
Finally, in Bay Ridge, this semi-detached single-family brick house has a garage, three bedrooms, and two baths. This former Open House Pick sold in September for $1.19 million, which was $60,000 under the asking price.
