Grand Colonial Revival in Ditmas Park and Three More to See This Weekend, Starting at $1.05 Million
Our open house picks this week are spacious affairs ranging from a well-appointed single-family home in Ditmas Park to a three-family home in Bed Stuy.

This week’s open house picks are spacious affairs, including a well-appointed single-family home in Ditmas Park and a three-family in Bed Stuy. The other two are located in Bushwick and Kensington.
First, in Ditmas Park is a freestanding Colonial Revival with a three-car garage, central air and a large backyard that’s been in the same family since 1979. It has no less than six bedrooms and three and a half baths, the latter of which have been renovated with steam showers and radiant heated floors. There’s a new roof and repointed chimney, according to the listing, and an e-car charging station in the garage.
Next, in Bed Stuy, is a flip purchased in 2017, when we also featured it as an Open House Pick before renovation. It’s a three-family Neo-Grec brick townhouse, and it looks like real architects put some design into it with some surprising modern updates such as the glass-enclosed stairs, a kitchen with refined modern cabinetry, and bathrooms outfitted with floor-to-ceiling hex mosaic tiles and glass-enclosed showers and toilets.
Then in Bushwick, there’s a two-family Italianate brick townhouse currently configured as a duplex below a top floor rental. The duplex has an open plan kitchen with an island and exposed wood beams on the garden level that will appeal to loft-lovers. It no doubt needs some updating, starting with the carpeting on the parlor floor.
To end things this week, we have an updated single family brick row house in Kensington with prewar charm. It has hardwood floors, a landscaped backyard with patio, three bedrooms and a renovated kitchen that looks a little hemmed in for the 1,530-square-foot house. According to the listing, there are new mechanicals.
