More specifically, the barrel-fronted building is a circa 1903 Renaissance Revival in the Crown Heights North III Historic District. You would be correct to expect some woodwork inside.

The living room is large and pretty styling, with bay windows, wainscoting in dark wood, an inlaid parquet floor and a mirrored, tiled fireplace mantel.

The kitchen is renovated, with maple cabinets, granite countertops and a pantry closet, and looks like it offers room for a breakfast table.

The bedroom’s fairly large; it lacks a closet, but there’s one outside the door in the entrance hallway. The home office is in a rear extension; might get chilly back there this time of year, but it’s still nice to have.
