A large, sunny, top-floor apartment in an early 20th century house in Bay Ridge has parquet, wide doorways, picture frame moldings, and windows wrapping around three sides. It’s located at 257 90th Street, a circa 1920 Craftsman two-family with peaked gables and a bit of Tudor-esque timbering.

The seven-room floor-through measures has a sunroom, dining room, and three bedrooms, an old floor plan from a prior listing shows.

The ceilings are high and the rooms well proportioned, with cove ceilings, picture rails, and original moldings and doors.

The modern galley kitchen has plenty of counter space and a huge pantry, but no dishwasher. There is a white subway tile backsplash, wood cabinets, a composite counter, and tile floor.

Two of the bedrooms, both in the rear of the unit, are full size, while one in the front is narrow.

The bathroom has large-format melon-colored tile with a wave-motif decorative border, perhaps dating from the late 20th century. A stained glass window is original, and there is a separate tub and shower.

While the apartment does not appear to have a washer/dryer, there is no lack of closets — we count eight, including the pantry.

Listed by Donald Oula of R New York, it is available in March and priced at $2,700 a month. What do you think?
