Sales at 509 Chauncey, a gut-renovated pre-war building that went on the market in June, have been moving along steadily. The first unit closed earlier this month and two more are in contract, according to the developer. StreetEasy shows four units still on the market, and we’re told one FHA spot is remaining. Prices range from $315,000 to $370,000 for two-bedrooms.

  1. Oh my god! This is close to my house and we were checking it out the other day.

$315 for an 800sf two bedroom seems like a FINE price. They require only 3.5 percent down. It’s right across from a gorgeous park. This building used to be all burned out. This seems to me like a great deal in the city.
