Community members can gather to learn more about affordable housing opportunities and share their vision for the community at a forum in East New York this week.

Hosted by City Council Member Inez Barron and New York State Assembly Member Charles Barron, the “Housing: Affordable for Us” event will be moderated by Keron Alleyne, Community Outreach Coordinator for Community Board 5.

Its purpose is to “inform the community of the affordable housing available to the residents of East New York,” according to the flyer.
