An affordable housing lottery has opened for a massive 400 units at a block-long development with two 16-story towers located at 2926 West 19th Street (with an alternate address of 2943 West 20th Street) in Coney Island.

The development is being built in three phases. According to the listing, these units are part of the first phase of the project. Phase 2 will be down the street with an address of 1607 Surf Avenue, and Phase 3 will be next door at 1709 Surf Avenue.

Of the affordable apartments, there are 102 studios, 157 one-bedroom units, 104 two-bedroom units and 37 three-bedroom units. Monthly rents start at $367 and top out at $2,502.

The lottery is set at an area median income range of 30 percent for 45 of the units, 40 percent for 44 of the units, 50 percent for another 45 of the units, 60 percent for 177 of the units, 100 percent for 67 units and 130 percent for the remaining 22 units.

Eligible incomes range between $14,778 and $192,400 for households of one to seven people.

Across the street from the Brooklyn Cyclones at MCU Park, the building has a total of 446 units. Parking for 40 cars will be located off-site, with an additional 56 spots located on the ground floor. There, it will join five retail spots and additional room for 116 bikes.

The residential units start on the second floor across both towers, dubbed North Tower and South Tower on building permits. Both towers have laundry on both the seventh and eighth floors. On the eighth floor, both buildings also have a roof deck, gym and community room available to all of the tenants.
