We’re not entirely sure that’s true — can anyone cite another example of a brownstone being condo’d in this neck of the woods? As for the project, the developers appear to have bought the building in December 2005 for $650,000. The sign in the front yard is promising two-bedroom condos in the Spring of 2007. The website at adobeproperties.com is still under construction.

Does anyone know where the Halsey one is?
Wow! Condoization finally reached the hood….
There’s the development at 76 MacDonough. The duplex sold for 500k and the third floor for 389K, I think. The top floor is still available. Check out http://www.designerbrownstones.com. There is also a conversion project on Halsey St and another under construction on Hancock (Lewis and Marcus Garvey).
Is it really cost efficient to convert to condos with average prices at or below $300k for a 2br?
The following link has the price breakdown for 76 MacDonough: http://ltjbukem.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_ltjbukem_archive.html
i thought i saw a sign on a house that said Corcoran was sponsoring a condo/brownstone conversion – maybe on Halsey street?

I believe 76 Macdonough was also made into condos
Can anyone post any other examples of condo development in Bed-Stuy? I’m very interested in this phenomenon.
It’ll be interesting to see the progress of this project..
