80 Lex Rentals Hit The Market

The last we saw of 80 Lexington Avenue, the new residential building was just wrapping up construction. Now signage is up that the building is being marketed by Myspace Realty. Haven’t seen listings up yet on StreetEasy but the Myspace website says that the building has lofts as well as one- and two-bedrooms. Prices start at $2,099. What do you think of this place relative to some of the other new developments nearby?
As per the brokerage company MyspaceNYC, I’ve dealt with them they are a great professional company and I know they will get the job done.
someone is protesting to much , that building looks like it was hit AND built with an UGLY crane.
It looks like a prison, with terraces.
Regarding the sliding windows, there’s a limit stop at 4 inches to prevent accidents. Usually super has a key for window cleaning.
“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again- this is Clinton Hill”
Hey Blowfish opinions aside you are dead wrong!!The objective and denotative border of Clinton Hill is Classon Ave. Brokers and property owners can tweak boundaries for economic reasons but that is grossly misleading and unfortunately commonplace.
BTW we happen to agree the design here is ugly but see that is purely an opinion not a fact!
Nice try Blowfish, but you are wrong. Classon is the border. Are you trying to sell a property on Franklin? I remember a recent post where you called Franklin Ave. a low crime area.
Ouch. That’s one ugly building. And I agree with 1910 — the windows are a non-starter if you have small kids.
Boundary wars again? Of course in the end neighborhoods are what we say they are, but as has been covered extensively, the name Bedford-Stuyvesant doesn’t come from “Bedford” Ave and Stuyvesant Ave, but rather Bedford (variously Village and Corner) and Stuyvesant Heights. Seems to me Blowfish has some sort of dog in this fight. But whatever…
This building is pretty damn ugly, no?
“Bed-Stuy is between Bedford and Stuyvesant. I think it would be misleading to list this as Bed-Stuy– for people looking to live in Bed-Stuy, they’re not thinking here.”
bed-stuy extends past stuyvesant.
