184 Joralemon made news last week when the Brooklyn Law School sold it to a development firm for $12 million. But The Real Deal is reporting that the school had already agreed to sell to another developer for a lower price of $9.2 million. Apparently Manhattan-based developer United American Land already put down a down payment of $2 million and claims “the school was bound by good faith and fair dealings to go forward with the sale.” But the current buyers aren’t worried: “They do everything by the book,” says the new owner of 184 Joralemon, Craig Nassi, of BCN Development. “They are a law school for god’s sake.”
