The conversion of the former warehouse at 177 Concord Street, a development that hasn’t been on our radar for some time, is almost finished and the building will hit the market soon, according to its lead broker. The building has 23 loft-style condos, according to Leah Rubin of Olympic Realty. Prices on the studios and one-bedrooms, which range in size from 750 to 1,300 square feet, will run around $750 a foot, or between $510,000 and $1.1 million. The development’s website, which is still under construction, has samples of the floor plans. Rubin says that while the building was nearly finished a couple of years ago, its sponsor decided to wait out the down market rather than taking it rental. Karl Fischer was the lead architect on the conversion, which features high ceilings and amenities that include a fitness room, lounge area and rooftop deck. Concord is one of the smaller streets in northern Downtown Brooklyn, and it’s in an area that doesn’t feel claimed by any particular neighborhood but is near Fort Greene, Dumbo and Vinegar Hill. Rubin says an open house is scheduled for mid-March.
