An eight-unit new condo development at 114 India Street in Greenpoint in just reaching completion and becoming available for sale. We feel sorry enough for anyone faced with trying to sell a small project like this in an off-the-beaten-path section of North Brooklyn that we will refrain from any catty comments about the design and just wish ’em good luck, especially at price-per-square-foot levels that rival those of larger, high-profile projects in first-stop-on-the-L sections of Williamsburg.

Nice condo overall. Prices are a bit high but it seems like the developer is willing to look at offers. I liked the area actually, quiet but actually pretty close everything. The construction seems solid, unit 4b actually has a really cool layout.
114 India Street condos have modern design. Unique kitchens & bathrooms. The prices are not the cheapest but the quality is worth the price.
I live in Greenpoint…it’s really not that far off the beaten path as you make it sound. The G train is fine during peak hours. I make it to/from work in midtown in half an hour. Not so bad. Granted, the G train does’t come that often latter in the evenings.
The building at 114 India appears to be one of the Belvedere buildings that have been sprouting up the past couple of years. I’ve seen worse, but i’ve also seen much better. Usually they have some pretty stange layouts once you get inside.
another clumsy edifice left to our grandchildren. it seems the developer didn’t skimp in materials; if only a decent architect could have taken a little time to help him refine the design. coulda been something special…
I lived a block away during my first summer in NYC (2000) when I subletted a friend’s apartment. The area was charming, affordable, and mostly Hispanic. I went back last summer and my go-to bodega had become a natural foods store, a vacant storefront had become a Thai restaurant, a vacant lot was a new condo, and there were white people everywhere.
It says the first floor units are handicap accessible. I wonder if the cellar “rec rooms” and saunas are handicap accessible too…
… it also cracks me up that the floor plans don’t seem to show the “rec rooms” or the “penthouses”.
A few typos exists as well….
… well done marketing job over all…. 😉
These are very similar to the 190 Freeman St condos, which is roughly 3 blocks away. The differences are that these look crappier (based on the pics), they have smaller balconies, and they are listed at a higher price.
a short sales course would do this broker good.
Crappy photography. No interior images.
Brownstoner shows more than the party who sells.
$ 600000 for a 4th floor walk up box.
With a great roof you share with your neighbor “penthouse” owners? And “coffee shops in the neighborhood including Starbucks” as selling point
You gotta admit they do have humor.
I think India Street is very convenient, not only the G is only a block away, there are lots of good restaurants and cool boutiques on Franklin Ave. The condo looks tiny though.
