  1. It only takes one. And another one. And another one. Thats how bubbles are formed. Well, someone wanted it for that price – not sure why. The rooms are small. Thats no living room – that is essentially a huge eat-in kitchen. But then again, all these new high-end condos have small tiny rooms. You pay for the finishes, amenities etc. Personally, I like space.

  2. beware…the impending doom. we will pay for our sins and burn in hell if we don’t repent. the sky cannot hold up much longer. blasphemy. this country shall implode and is scared with its excesses. the DJIA shall hit 1000 but i have neither the balls or the resources to do anything about it because i never made anything of myself. i just wanted to warn you all so you might think i am smart and prophetic and maybe someday people will look up to me. I do feel that i am smarter than everyone because once i won a contest in fourth grade and my father had a preachy complex. beware fools. you are all in the bubble. i can save you just listen to me!

seriously what idiot would pay 700/sf for a bright airy modern condo in a trendy area when just across the river they’re going for 1200/sf. dumbasses, all of you. you will never learn.

  3. beware the giddiness.
this place traded for 760K in july 2007. deposit probably placed in summer 06.
so 2 years of bull followed by nyc crash/burn gets you 20k gross for 4 year investment.
minus transaction costs going in (condo) and leaving means you’re off of a few 10Ks, imo.
that said, im sure the seller is feeling relieved as this could’ve been a lot worse if the market hadnt stabilized inthe last yr.
what happened to the criticism of the over supply and quality of condos.

  4. Those interiors are very modern. With that niche, there’s a chance of finding someone that really falls in love with it. Stuff that modern isn’t available much around here and def not for $780k.
